Santiago Scene Editor US Embassy Santiago, Chile

•Responsible for the creation, design, and editing of the weekly newsletter, the Santiago Scene.
•Transformed the weekly newsletter into a professionally produced weekly magazine, nearly doubling the length and pertinent content from 10 pages to 18.
•Worked closely with CLO to implement weekly columns to better serve the Embassy community’s changing needs, as suggested through a large-scale survey, including a quick-reference guide, improvements to the calendar, and a weekly highlights reel.
•Researched and edited articles, ads, local events, and content to create a useful and professional document that changes weekly.
•Added weekly content to new Facebook groups to create continuity and database searchability across platforms.
•Accomodated a deadline change (from Friday to Thursday) to accommodate the employee shortage in CLO, saving the Embassy money by not having to staff CLO on Fridays.
•Developed a web version of the newsletter. Included soliciting web development quotes, initiating website architecture, and developing basic site structure

Professional Biography
Stephanie Millner, M.Photog., M.Artist.Cr., CPP is an internationally award-winning photographer residing in Tirana, Albania. She has over a decade of experience crafting photographs of wonderful clients in amazing destinations. She has worked world-wide: throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Italy, and Chile. Through her work with several embassies, her client list includes Ambassadors and foreign Heads of State, Secretary John Kerry, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Second Ladies Karen Pence and Dr. Jill Biden, and (then-Vice) President Biden.
Stephanie’s studio specializes in fine-art studio portraiture of people and their pets, for which she has earned much acclaim, including publication in Reader’s Digest: PhotoYou Asia and Professional Photographer, as well as numerous international awards. She is often a guest-speaker for photography and graphic design organizations.
In her free time, she enjoys fine-art photography, traveling, and working with animals. She lives in Tirana with her husband, Dave, their daughter ,”JEM”, Luna (a beautiful White Swiss Shepherd) and Mr. Dracula (their enormous catbeast.)
